After the Interview
After the interview, relax...but only for a minute. I remember leaving, strolling out of the building and into a blazing hot California sun. I'd sit in my car, with the air conditioning on and go over what had just happened in my mind. Where was I blind-sided? Were my answers too detailed, too vague? Each interview will be different in the details, but the overall impression is a very important part that you want to manage.
Figure out what impression you want to leave with interviewers.

Do you want to be seen as confident, capable, compatible, and a great communicator?
Make Notes for Next Time
When interviewing keep a notebook handy. After the interview write down any questions that you hadn't heard before, especially those that are specific to your career field.
Write down names of individuals that you've met and connect afterward through emails, letters or through online networking systems, such as LinkedIn. These online networking systems are simple to use and will get the attention of anyone you "connect" with.
Were you asked to come back for another interview.
They'll probably ask about salary requirements, learn how to handle salary negotiation.
Online Networking Systems
Online networking is a modern approach to networking. It used to be you had to attend social events, professional meetings, and the like, in order to meet people in your field. With systems such as LinkedIn.com you can sign up for free, enter a profile and start connecting. You can advertise your desire to find a specific job and monitor the site to see what's available.
After the interview it's time to write that
