Now that you've completed the interview, get a thank you note into the hands of your interviewers within 24 hours (no later than 2 business days).  If the employer has emailed you in the past, it is likely that emailing a thank you note is okay.  Be sure you are sending the email directly to an interviewer.

I appreciate the time you spent with me today, discussing the technician position currently open in your company. I was very pleased to learn more about your organization and the job. More than ever, I hope to join your company as a technician working in the fabrication division.

I hope you recognized my enthusiasm and eagerness for this type of work.  I bring strong skills and a cooperative spirit that I hope will fit well within your organization. 

I appreciate the time you took to interview me. I am very interested in working for you and look forward to hearing from you regarding this position.

Email notes generally will contain your contact information at the bottom, while hard copies are formatted with this information at the top of the page.
